WE R.U.L.E. Programs
R.U.L.E. Mental Health Curriculum Program
The WE R.U.L.E. Mental health curriculum is 20 weeks, implemented in the fall semester. Our curriculum focuses on four modules: Respect, Unify, Love, and Empower (RULE). The focus is on improvement in mental and emotional wellness by providing education and support to young women. Our goal is to improve interpersonal relationship building, enhance conflict resolution skills, cultivate
self-awareness and confidence.
HOW WE DO IT:
Community Outreach Program:
A primary prevention program providing workshops, training and awareness on sexual abuse and rape; to engage adults in the prevention of child sexual abuse and rape; to strengthen families through prevention, education, treatment and information about early warning signs. Sexual Health Program:
A separate program committed to bringing awareness, and knowledge on sexual violence and the impact it has on physical and mental health, such as increased risk of sexual promiscuity, unhealthy relationships, health problems and increased risk of suicide.
